 The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Range and Meadow Forage Management Research Unit located in Burns, OR, is seeking a full time, permanent, Research Rangeland Management Specialist or Research Ecologist, GS-12/13 ($74,596.00 - $115,313.00 annually plus benefits). Emphasis of the incumbent’s program may include 1) developing practices and strategies for restoring sagebrush plant communities and perennial livestock forage systems, 2) developing effective precision restoration technologies and practices, and 3) developing decision-support tools to enhance restoration of livestock forage production systems and other ecosystem services. 

 This announcement will open 09/23/2019 and will close on 10/14/2019. U.S. citizenship is required for this permanent position.
