The Oregon WS program has two vacancies (Full-time seasonal), GS 404-5/6.  The vacancy is open February 4-8, 2019.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a multi-agency effort to recover the threatened Western Snowy Plover (plover) on the SW coast of Oregon.  WS efforts of managing avian and mammalian predation on nesting plovers is recognized as an integral part of recovery efforts for this species.  Before WS involvement annual fledging of plovers averaged 37.  In recent years plover fledging has exceeded 280.  If you are interested in being a part of this WS success story, please contact District Supervisor, Paul Wolf  (503) 593-1719, Paul.C.Wolf at aphis.usda.gov
