For anyone who loves growing native plants and restoring damaged lands and living and working in a beautiful area, this would be a great opportunity.
Here's a summary of duties:
The incumbent will be responsible for native plant seed collection, seed storage, soil mix preparation, propagation and nursery plant care. The incumbent will be responsible for out-planting nursery grown plants on disturbed sites, conducting follow-up monitoring and documenting mortality/survival of nursery transplants.
The incumbent will participate in nursery and restoration work requires bending, stooping, and lifting of heavy objects. This position will also involve some extended periods of office work, working on computers entering data, organizing digital data and photos, managing GPS and GIS data, and preparing a summary report.
