Hi Vicky,
Thank you for providing these details. I am going to share this with current students and recent graduates because they will be interested in Certification opportunities that don’t require 5 years of experience.
Cheers,
Mitch McClaran

Mitch,
Sorry about the bad link. It should take you to the CPRM Committee page, http://rangelands.org/committees/cprm-committee/.
Some specific details for the APRM are still being finalized. Specifically, we need a database that can handle this new category; but we are almost there and hope to have something in the works very soon.
The APRM primarily addresses applicants who have not yet met the 5 years of experience that the CPRM designation requires.
All the other requirements for CPRM must be met to qualify for APRM.
See page 5 of the committee handbook which as details on APRM as of now, http://rangelands.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/2017_Revision_CPRM_Handbook_May.pdf.
More details on this new certification will be coming soon as the Committee works through some of the challenges presented.
We’ll be keeping the membership updated as things develop so stay tuned!

Hi SRM,
I just read the nice piece by Lia Biono in the Capital Update.
I am curious about the new Associate Professional Range Manager certificate program. Unfortunately, when I followed the link for more information, there was no information about this new program.
Can you please provide more information about the new program because I know many students would be interested.
Cheers,
Mitch
