All,
 We will be filling a GS-0454-07/09/11 Range Specialist, vacancy announcement 18-SVQ3-0309-3130G-DQ, here at the Verde Ranger District on the Prescott National Forest. The duty station will be Camp Verde, AZ and several communities are within reasonable commuting distances from Camp Verde. Additional details are included in the attached document.

 The District administers 18 year-long range allotments and has developed great working relationships with our range permittees. The Prescott Forest has outstanding relationships with communities and partners. The Range Program on the Verde District works closely with the fire shop to plan and carry out prescribed fire treatments to maintain grasslands, chaparral and forest vegetation types. 
 This is a great District and Forest with excellent employee morale. 

 Note the announcement will initially be open from 7-11-18 / 7-17-18. Full promotion potential is at the GS-0454-11 level.
