Hi folks!

I had mentioned last night at the Tierra Seca meeting, I have created a
Doodle poll to help us determine a good time to practice. I’m excited to
see some new faces, and the returning ones as well! This will be
challenging, but we’ll make it fun! But first, a few logistics:

   1. You will need to get your hands on a copy of *North American Wildland
Plants: A field guide* 3rd ed. by Stubbendieck et al. This will be the
same book you will use in Dr. McClaran’s course so you’ll need it
   eventually. A link is below.

   2. Practices will meet in BSE 124.
   3. Fill out this Doodle poll to help us determine when to practice!

   4. The team has illuminated hand lenses but feel free to bring your own
   loupes or magnifiers.
   5. To participate on any Tierra Seca team competing at the National SRM
meeting, you will be required to sign a contract stating your intent to
travel and compete as well as your acknowledgement of your required
participation in club fundraisers. We will elaborate more on this at the
next club meetings as well as team practices. Attendance at practice is
mandatory if you intend to travel with the club - plus practices are fun so
   why miss them!?

I think that’s all for now. Please let me know if you have questions or
concerns and please forward this on to anyone else interested or anyone
that I forgot! See you soon!

Cheers,

~ Sarah
