Dear Students,

I am sorry that, due to a previous out-of-town commitment, I cannot make
the first TS meeting on August 28.  I have asked President Profy to provide
an overview of the URME (Undergraduate Range Management Exam) Team during
your 8/28/18 meeting.  In the meantime, you can learn more about URME by
going here (Undergraduate Range Management Examination - Society For Range

After you hear Josie's overview on 8/28, please let her know if you think
you might beinterested in being on the 2018/19 UA URME Team. By Thursday of
next week (8/30) I will send a doodle poll to everyone who responds to
Josie so we can pick a day and 2-hour study block for our weekly study
sessions. I plan to have the date and time for our study sessions confirmed
by the week of Sept 3.

For those of you who want to receive course credits, I can offer up to 2
total credits for URME which can either be taken during this Fall Semester
(2018) or during the next Spring Semester (2019)* -- please note **you will
have to earn these credits by faithfully attending the weekly study
sessions, contributing to the discussion, and participating in fund raising
activities to get the URME Team to Minneapolis, MN in Feb 2019.*  Josie or
one of the other URME "veterans" can tell you more about all of this and
what my expectations will be of each URME Team member.

For now, please let Josie know if you are interested in URME. You may email
