Good morning everyone,

If you remember from last week, I am a PhD student in Ecology, Management and Restoration of Rangelands with a minor in Animal Sciences. I am working on cattle grazing behavior, diet selection and meat characteristics with some ranchers (Deb and Dennis Moroney, 47 Ranch) situated between Tombstone and Bisbee.

Following the family packs opportunities, I got a request about a smaller amount of meat for students so we have been working on creating a student pack for a cheaper price, $50 for 7.5 lbs.

As a reminder, they are raising Raramuri Criollo cattle which is a breed adapted to semi-arid and arid conditions and which was brought by the Spanish to the Americas, beginning in the 16th century.

Their meat is all natural, with no hormones, no antibiotics, and no grain feeding. They effectively graze the rangelands and are able to marble well on native rangeland feed. Contrary to some beliefs about grassfed meat, their meat is very tender! Do not hesitate to ask me for more information on that aspect because I can share with you my tenderness results, they are really amazing!
