Friends and Colleagues!

Dan Carroll, who I worked with on the Navajo Reservation correlating Ecological Sites, is looking for a soil scientist partner to pursue NRI data collection contracts. The candidate needs to have the 15 credit hours of soils classes as required for the NRCS Soil Scientist Series. They should also be proficient at identifying soils to the component level in the field to correlate with county soil surveys.

Dan is an excellent rangeland ecologist, and played a large role in my mentoring.

Let me know if you or anyone you know would be qualified/interested. I believe that most of the work would be in the 4 corners region, but Dan can provide more details.
