The vacancy announcement for Rangeland Management Specialist, GS-0454-11/12, is set to open 08/31/2015 and set to close 09/09/2015.   Vacancy announcement number is 15-0509-161378G-DLA (Merit).

This position is located on the Modoc National Forest, Alturas, CA.

The Rangeland Management Specialist is the Range Program Manager responsible for direction of intensive multiple-use practices and coordination activities applied in all aspects of range vegetation and ecosystem management. This includes management of the Total Resource Information System, management of permitted livestock, wild horse program, range development and revegetation systems, and forest pesticide chemical use programs.
