Hey there,

I hope your break was relaxing and enjoyable!

This year Tierra Seca (the Student Chapter of Society for Range
Management) meetings
will be held on Wednesdays from 12:00pm(ish)-1:00pm. I say "-ish" because
half of our officers (and some of our members) are taking RNR 321 that gets
out at 12:15. We have the room reserved starting at 12:00pm so please come
on time if you can :)

*Meeting dates: *1/21, 2/4, 2/18, 3/4, 4/1, 4/15 and 4/29
*Meeting place:* BSE 311 (meeting room up on the 3rd floor of BSE)

*Tierra Seca's mission:*

a. To promote Rangeland Ecology and Management students by allowing them
the opportunity to work with professionals in their field of interest and
work experience with government agencies.

b. To provide fellowship among students and faculty in the School of
Natural Resources, particularly in the field of Rangeland Ecology and
Management.

c. To provide a forum for the presentation of innovative ideas to the
benefit of the University community.


Our agenda will be sent out within the next few days! I hope to see you all
at our first meeting Wednesday 1/21 at 12:00pm! Please bring your calendars
as we have a lot of stuff planned this semester.
