FREMONT-WINEMA NATIONAL FOREST OFFERING
TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT FOR 2015

Lakeview, Oregon – The Fremont-Winema National Forest, located in south central Oregon, is beginning the hiring process for temporary positions for spring and summer 2015.

Available positions will include the following areas: archeology, customer service, fire, natural resources (botany, fisheries, range, water and wildlife), recreation and timber. Duty stations include Bly, Chemult, Chiloquin, Klamath Falls, Lakeview, Paisley or Silver Lake.

"The Forest Service takes pride in managing public lands and is filled with employees who are dedicated to making that happen," said Seana Lammers, Interagency Administrative Officer for the Fremont-Winema National Forest and Bureau of Land Management Lakeview District, "We're looking for candidates who are interested in doing the same."
Applicants interested in these jobs must apply through www.usajobs.gov<http://www.usajobs.gov>. Vacancy announcements for positions will be posted on the website in three different time periods. The first opportunity for candidates to apply will be for all temporary fire-related positions and some jobs in recreation, natural resources, and timber. Applications will be accepted for these positions Jan. 6-12, 2015.
The second round of applications will be accepted for all non-fire related positions not addressed in the January job announcement. Applications will be accepted for this round of hiring Feb. 4-10, 2015. The third opportunity for applying for a temporary position will be in March 2015.
