New website lets you job-search the U.S. Forest Service

Looking for a job with the U.S. Forest Service?
Pacific Northwest Region 6 (Oregon-Washington) has launched the website Forest Service Employment Outreach<https://fsoutreach.gdcii.com/Outreach> for those looking for current and future employment with the federal agency.
A good place to start is the "help" link that provides a step-by-step guide to navigating the site.
"The employment outreach database allows job-seekers to search for positions in specialties such as fire, trails, timber, recreation, fisheries and archeology," said Nita Wornom, the Region 6 civil rights director.
The website allows you to search for jobs in all regions of the Forest Service from Alaska to Florida as well those specialty skills. It also allows you to search for positions throughout the region or at specific sites.
If you find one that interest you, you can respond to a job posting, and you also can submit a statement that explains why you believe that you are a quality candidate for a job.
Vacancy announcements for jobs will be posted on the USA Jobs website<http://www.usajobs.gov> upon completion of the outreach notice.
That's the website where you can complete and submit job applications.
