Funding has been acquired for Young Leaders in Climate Change intern at Crater Lake in 2015.  The posting is here: http://parksclimateinterns.org/index.php/internships/available-internships/
The project is to use remote sensing to assess annual snow cover and its potential impacts on phenology and forest health.  If you know of any graduate students interested in such a project, especially if they were to incorporate it into a larger project of similar focus, pass this along.  And feel free to share.
