The Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Oklahoma State University is seeking applicants for a cluster hire of 3 tenure -
track positions in the arena for forage systems, pastures and rangelands, and range beef cattle nutrition to establish an interdisciplinary, integrated team focused on
improving and sustaining the forage-livestock systems central to Oklahoma and Southern Great Plains agriculture. These three positions will be 11 month, tenure-track appointments
at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Position 1.    A 60% extension and 40% research position in forage systems to develop internationally recognized, interdisciplinary extension and research programs to improve forage systems and transfer forage management technologies.  Ph.D. in Crop Science, Agronomy, or closely related field with major emphasis on forage systems.

Position 2.   A 70% research and 30% teaching position emphasizing range beef cattle nutrition and management in native and introduced pastures and range with a focus on sustainability.
Ph.D. in animal science, ruminant nutrition, or another terminal degree in a closely related field.

Position 3. A 75% extension and 25% teaching position emphasizing management of native grasslands and conservation reserve program (CRP) grasslands; drought mitigation; brush management;
Rangeland restoration; and cattle/wildlife grazing compatibility.  PhD in rangeland management/ecology or a closely related field.
