Attached is the job flyer on the county Rangelands Program Manager position currently open. This position is the programmatic lead on the overall Pima County ranch management program. The position is responsible for working closely with our ranch operators to ensure that the grazing efforts on the county ranches are being conducted within our current Standards and Guidelines. The position also takes the lead in working on ways to enhance the rangeland resources of the various ranches consistent with the Sonoran Desert Conservation Plan and Multi-Species Conservation Plan. We are especially looking for the individual that can successfully bridge communication and coordination between ranch operators, state and federal agencies and the broadest conservation community.
