[Srm] IMPORTANT: Tierra Seca Paid Field Opportunity

Hello Tierra Seca members (and importantly the URME team):



There will be a *paid opportunity for the club* coming up through the NRCS
and the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance.


It will consist of one day of field work, mainly helping them to finish
some monitoring on a few transects. We are planning to have this take place
on a Friday.


These are the potential dates (only one of the three will be chosen):

Friday October 19
Friday November 2
Friday November 9


I will certainly be committed to helping them with this so that the club
can earn a little money, and I hope a handful of you will, too. It is a
great opportunity to get some hands-on experience outside of a classroom
and to help the club earn some money!


*PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND AND HELP OUT! I NEED TO
GET A HEAD COUNT ASAP!*     ...Also, I'm not advocating that missing class
on a Friday is no big deal, but if you just happen to have only one class
on Friday's that's easily missed.....well.....just think about it. The more
the better! Plus it can go into your resume of projects that you've helped
the club with!
