[Srm] Precipitation update posted and Reminder about RISE Symposium

Colleagues,

We just posted the update for precipitation records through September 2011 on the Santa Rita Experimental Range (http://ag.arizona.edu/SRER/data.html). In general, there was slightly above average precipitation conditions this summer except for the northern portion which was drier.  The wet September followed a dry August.

Also, be reminded that the 8th Annual RISE Symposium will occur on 29 October 2011 (http://www.tucson.ars.ag.gov/rise/index.htm).  We would like people to register by the end of this week (14 Oct) but will accept registration at the door.  Five CEU (Continuing Education Units) towards the Certified Professional in Range Management program (http://www.rangelands.org/cprm_public/) are available to attendees.
