Last year we organised Pastoralists Awards 2021 for their best practices and for conservation of local livestock breeds in our South Asia and Central Asia and Mongolia region. This time this can be organised at global level with participation of all regional units of IYRP. We can decide the number of awards, criteria for selection etc. once it is accepted by all regions. <p class="MsoNormal">The majority decided that 24 Nov 2022 at 2-4pm SAST would be most applicable to have our meeting. The meeting is largely to discuss fundraising in your respective regions that would contribute towards getting more pastoralists involved
in IYRP activities and processes. We should also in the meantime think about whether we would want to hold a global pastoral gathering in 2024. The short agenda will be sent closer to the meeting date.
