Dear RISG Chairs

Looking forward to the RISG meeting on 27th June, I would like to share an early draft of an Information Note that we are intending to send to the GEF SGP National Coordinators, to encourage them to be open to funding more projects for and by pastoralists and rangelands.

This is for your information only, and if you have had experience with GEF SGP in the past or present, then please do share that information at the meeting on 27th June so that we can improve the Info Note.

We are hoping this would be a good avenue to obtain funding for the pastoralist gatherings in 2026.
