Just a friendly reminder about our scheduled meeting next week, 24 Nov 2022
at 2-4pm SAST. 

 

The Preliminary agenda: 

 

1.	Finalising IYRP RISG coordinators list 
2.	IYRP symposium at the SRM Conference at Boise, Idaho, (07 Feb 2023).

3.	Proposed global pastoral gathering
4.	Proposal to gain deeper insights into pastoralists' understanding
and interpretations of the terms 'Rangelands' and 'Pastoralists' 
5.	Fundraising for RISGs to increase pastoralists' participation in
IYRP 
6.	Any other business

Dear RISG

 

Thank you to those who completed the Doodle poll. 

 

The majority decided that 24 Nov 2022 at 2-4pm SAST would be most applicable
to have our meeting. The meeting is largely to discuss fundraising in your
respective regions  that would contribute towards getting more pastoralists
involved in IYRP activities and processes. We should also in the meantime
think about whether we would want to hold a global pastoral gathering in
2024. The short agenda will be sent closer to the meeting date. 

 

If you cannot make it for the meeting, please ensure that at least one other
member from your coordinating group attends.
