<p class="MsoNormal">On behalf of the Executive Committee for the Rangelands Partnership, I invite you to participate in the 2013 Annual Rangelands Partnership Meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, May 12-14. This will be a particularly important meeting because, as
you know, the Partnership has recently launched a new, integrated, and much expanded technical infrastructure including a database of more than 13,000 resources made accessible through a suite of web portals. During the meeting, these portals will be reviewed
and evaluated, plans for Phase 2 development will be determined, and the implementation of social media applications will be discussed.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">However, the most valuable and critical component to the success of the Rangelands Partnership collaboration is the level of support received from the participants representing the 19 member Western Land-Grant Universities. As an active
partner, we invite you to give a brief presentation on your state’s Rangelands website and related rangelands activities occurring at your institution.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In addition, your participation in the hands-on training workshops for entering content into the primary database as well as state website development discussions will be essential to continued progress in building the Global Rangelands/Rangelands
West knowledge system. Similarly, your contributions to discussions on maintaining current content in our “hot topics” sections and other key issues will be important and highly valued.
