Part of FAO's 80th Anniversary - 365 Days of Action



Theme: Fostering Change | Scaling Innovations | Driving Solutions

Building on the success of FAO's first-ever Global Conference on Sustainable Livestock Transformation in 2023 and a series of impactful regional events, the 2025 edition returns with greater ambition and broader engagement. This year's edition of the conference will focus on concrete actions on the ground, bringing together FAO Members, representatives of livestock producers, private sector, civil society organizations, research and academia and development agencies, to accelerate action for a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable livestock sector.



Focus Areas:

  *   Fostering change through commitments and investments
  *   Scaling innovations across the value chain
  *   Driving solutions for livestock challenges



Outcomes:

  *   Sustain global focus on livestock
  *   Foster stronger partnerships
  *   Promote the adoption of impactful practices and innovations
