The International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP) 2026 is just around the corner! It's a huge opportunity to shine a bright and rare spotlight on the importance of pastoralists and rangeland ecosystems locally and around the world.

Members of the RP are involved in a newly launched project focusing on arts-based education led by Washington State University Extension. The project, through a series of webinars, will systematically increase our skills and comfort-level with using art-based education for IYRP2026 and other Extension/research/library work.

The first webinar is today, April 21 at 12pm Pacific Time!

This webinar will provide an early look at how to plug in to IYRP Outreach Activities including the newly launched Western SARE funded Arts-Based Education project. The hosts will focus on how to participate and processes/forms for teams.
