[RangelandsPartnership] Sad news about Jim O'Rourke

Dear Partners and IYRP family,

You may have already heard the sad news of the sudden passing of Jim O'Rourke on 5 March 2024. Jim spearheaded the initiative for the United Nations designation of 2026 as the International Year of Rangelands & Pastoralists. Attached is a eulogy to this remarkable man, whose passion for rangelands continued to burn into his 82nd year.
