________________________________
Dear all those planning to attend the International Rangelands Congress in Adelaide,

Greetings from UNCCD Riyadh where rangelands are high on the agenda!

Here is a quick invitation to a pre-Congress workshop as am aware people are starting to book their flights, and will send out more details in a week or so.

The STELARR project (as attached) is organising a pre-Rangelands Congress Workshop 2025 on the development of the global rangelands standard led by the Sustainable Fibre Alliance and a supporting rangelands monitoring scheme. It will be a two-day workshop going into detail of both and a great opportunity for you to influence their development. This will be held on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June at the conference venue. We are in discussion how we work this with the other events that are happening this weekend. More information to follow - but do book your flights to accommodate for this or another event happening that pre-Congress weekend!

Also it is not too late to register for the conference - see here: https://irc2025.rangelandcongress.org<https://url.usb.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/dpaLCYVDjwf3wXAL0f0fqIxVS75?domain=irc2025.rangelandcongress.org> Do join, it will be a great event on the journey to IYRP 2026.

Please note that we/ILRI do not have funds for supporting delegates - sorry about that.

Best
Fiona
