Please join us for the virtual seminar series, “Advances in Remote Sensing-based Products and Tools for Rangeland Management, Monitoring, and Planning,” hosted by the Grass-Cast Productivity Forecasting Science Team (https://grasscast.unl.edu/) and the University of Arizona Earth Dynamics Observatory (https://edo.arizona.edu/). Abstract:

The Rangeland Analysis Platform (https://rangelands.app<https://rangelands.app/>) provides everyone access to advanced rangeland vegetation cover and production data at temporal and spatial scales relevant to monitoring, management, and conservation.  Capitalizing on a wealth of rangeland field plots and advancements in cloud-computing, data storage, processing, and machine learning these operational satellite remote sensing products are transforming rangeland management and science.  We provide an in depth look at the methods behind these data as well as a hands-on demonstration of the Rangeland Analysis Platform and its visualization and analysis capabilities.
