[RangelandsPartnership] Save the dates, April 25-28th in Grand Junction for RP meeting

Greetings Rangelands Partnership! Please mark your calendars for April 25-28th in Grand Junction, CO for our Annual Meeting.

The meeting will take place at our new CSU building in the Grand Valley, built in 2019, and located on the Orchard Mesa Research Center, where we have active grape and peach research, as well as a farm-to-food bank program, as well as regional Extension and the Colorado State Forest Service.

More details will follow, but the rough schedule is:

  *   Monday, April 25: Afternoon | Welcome
  *   Tuesday, April 26th: Meeting
  *   Wednesday, April 27th: Meeting
  *   Thursday, April 28th: Field Tour

On the COVID front, the EC+ plus met earlier this week, and decided to proceed with an in-person meeting for now. We'll meet again in March and assess. We also agreed to the following precautions and will update as necessary:

1) Masks will be required indoors at the event per CSU policy.
2) We will manage the HVAC system to ensure adequate air exchange and filtration per CDC Guidelines.<https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/ventilation.html>
3) We will enjoy lunch / snacks/ coffee outside as possible.

Grand Junction is 4+ hours from Salt Lake and Denver, so I recommend flying into our small regional airport.

April is typically a lovely time in area, and hope to see you here!
