[RangelandsPartnership] Annual meeting dates + November Rangelands Round Up

Good afternoon,

The executive committee met on Friday and narrowed the potential days for the annual meeting to April 20-21 or April 27-28. Please let me know if either of these is bad for you. It will be a two-day meeting on a Tuesday & Wednesday.

We're still seeking a committee to plan guest speakers and entertainment as well as picking a meeting theme. We need 1-2 people to work with Krista Ehlert on this. In the survey we received the following theme suggestions: methods to effectively (and with some fun) connect with your clientele remotely; adaptation; community science during COVID; and climate change and rangelands monitoring. Let me know if you have a theme preference or other theme suggestions.

Our next Rangelands Round Up will take place on Thursday, November 5 at 1-2:30 pm MST. We were hoping to talk more about the new web site but we aren't ready to do that yet so the focus will be on climate with Mike Crimmins from University of Arizona speaking followed by break-out groups and social time. Look for more information about it in the October newsletter.
