I hope they will also talk about FAA licensing rules. I know at UW we have to either contract with a commercial company or get licensed. Guessing FAO countries have different rules.

The e-Agriculture Team launched the “introduction to drones in agriculture’ learning activity<http://www.e-agriculture.org/forums/discussions/e-agriculture-learning-activity-use-drone-agriculture-and-rural-development>. This self-learning activity is intended to increase the appreciation of drones to members and followers of the e-Agriculture Community of Practice (CoP). This update provides a brief summary of the events in week 1.
That week saw participants juggling between different types of content webinars, dedicated pages, recorded content, YouTube videos and WhatsApp discussion group. This variety of content spiced up the learning approach as it was designed to allow individuals without a background in drones to appreciate the learning path and also offer experienced users a chance to observe the various application of drones in agriculture and rural development.
