Dear colleagues,

We are happy to introduce the Database of Organizations published on the website of the Pastoralist Knowledge Hub<http://www.fao.org/pastoralist-knowledge-hub/en/>. It can be accessed here: http://www.fao.org/pastoralist-knowledge-hub/pastoralist-networks/database-of-organization/en/

As a coordinating mechanism, the Pastoralist Knowledge Hub connects different stakeholders working towards sustainable pastoralism. The Database of Organizations is another such initiative through which we showcase the breadth of work carried out by organizations working with pastoralists, and hope to foster fruitful collaborations.

The database compiles information about over 230 organizations working with pastoralists across the world, including multilateral organizations, civil society organizations, research institutions, private sector firms, government agencies, and so on. The database provides the organization's profile, areas of work, reach and contact details.

The database can be searched across country, region, type of organization and area of work.
