<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Friday 3/1 9 am</b>: Dulini Gamage, who is currently the Director of Assay Development at the Tucson office of
<a href="https://acceleratediagnostics.com/">Accelerate Diagnostics</a> (a company that develops
<i>in vitro</i> diagnostic assays), will talk about her career path. She has an AS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and a BS in Microbiology and has worked her way up to a high level in her current company, so this presentation will be a good way to
learn what kind of job you can ultimately have in industry without a graduate degree, even if you are not particularly interested in the exact type of work she does.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Friday 3/1 10 am</b>: Dr. Sadhana Ravishankar, who is the current Program Chair of the UA
<a href="https://abs.arizona.edu/">Professional Science Masters in Applied Biosciences program</a> (in addition to being a UA faculty member), will talk about that graduate program and answer your questions about applying for the program and/or being a student
in the program. This graduate program is primarily intended for students who want a ‘terminal’ Master’s degree – in other words, students who are not looking to get a PhD – and who want to work in industry, though it might also be suitable for other students
(that’s a question you could ask!). Within the program, students take courses in science and professional development, complete an internship, and choose a track (specialized area of study) from the following options (I’ve highlighted a few that I think might
