 complex reputation – a part of our pioneer heritage and a symbol of environmental harm due issues such as overgrazing and water use. In this class will consider whether agriculture and ranching can be sustainably practiced in the Southwest. What is the relationship
 between agriculture, conservation, and sustainable land use? Can we continue to produce local food and sustain our environment in the arid southwest?<o:p></o:p></p>
