Mexico for more than thirty years. She is particularly proud of her collaborative work with the
<i>promotora </i>movement throughout the border region, her long-term commitment to community based participatory research and action, her binational collaborations and her work to improve the quality of life for farmworkers in the United States and Mexico.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"">Christina Greene is a PhD candidate in the School of Geography and Development at the University of Arizona. Greene’s research interests include climate
change vulnerability and the links between climate, agriculture and rural communities. Her dissertation research focuses on the impacts of the ongoing drought in the farmworking communities of California’s Central Valley. Before attending the University of
Arizona, Greene spent several years with the United Nations Mine Action Service in Eastern Africa and the Middle East.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
