the concepts of modern plant biology. They will follow a clearly laid out 'detective manual' (devised by the Australian National University) to characterize and determine if unknown mutants assigned to them are drought tolerant. Students will conduct their
plant detectives projects in groups of three to five, and work intensively within those groups. The outcome is expected to teach students not only concepts of modern plant biology but also help gain skills in using various equipment and assays to collect data
and in results interpretation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
