About UBRP…

For over 25 years, UA’s Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP) has provided University of Arizona students the opportunity to learn science by doing research by participating in a paid, full-time,
mentored research experience during the summer. Participants gain research experience in biology while working with a mentor of their choice, join a community of scholars, enjoy field trips and social activities, develop professional skills and training to
be successful in post-graduate studies, and present their experimental results at the Annual UBRP Conference held each year in January. Students who complete the UBRP experience over the summer may have the option to continue in the program during the academic
year, working in the laboratory on a part-time basis to help offset college expenses.
