<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="color:#44546A">The UA Community Garden
</span>is a committee of ASUA Students for Sustainability. The garden is just about 3 years old and runs on the hard work of several undergraduate interns and an undergraduate manager. It is an organic garden on campus that is open for anyone to rent plots
and attend events. The garden works to teach students on campus about growing food locally and also puts a strong emphasis on combating food insecurity amongst low-income students and refugees in our community. With the current manager of this project leaving
in the coming year, there is now an opening for a new manager-to-be. Such student would work closely with the current manager for the semester of Spring 2015 learning skills such as delegating tasks to interns, keeping administrative files in order, teaching
interns about basic gardening skills, and keeping the garden involved with UA and community organizations. The manager is not paid during the year, but can be given internship credits and may be paid to maintain the garden over the summers. After feeling that
this new incoming manager has a grasp on the managerial roles, the current manager will pass off the position for the Fall 2015 semester. Student should have a grasp on gardening skills and an interest in local agriculture. Have questions? E-mail Taylor Sanders
