Kalu Yala is located in the rainforest highlands of Central Panama in a 7,000-acre valley that backs up to the Chagres National Park. TEDx Adventure is the newest offshoot of TED- the 15 minute talks with "ideas worth spreading". For the event, the KYEI team volunteered to host 135 people off-the-grid at Kalu Yala. Many of our alum came back as volunteers as well! Days were spent in makers workshops or on jungle adventures, followed by nights with inspiring talks and music. To top it off, every meal was prepared using ingredients from neighboring and our own farm!
