Many people have been drawn to southern Arizona because it is a natural wonderland of rare beauty and interest. We introduce you to basic principles of ecology and evolution illustrated with the plants and animals of our unique region. Learn about deserts, mountains and sea and meet bobcats, saguaros, Gila monsters and ringtails. Natural History of the Southwest is a lecture course which includes live animal demonstrations in class and local field trips. <br><br>Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E.
