Local non-profit organization Desert Harvesters will be operating their hammermill from 9AM to noon, turning mesquite pods into delicious flour. Learn about the nutritional and environmental benefits of mesquite flour, and discover tasty new ways to incorporate it into your diet. Volunteers from the UA Office of Sustainability will be on hand to provide information on UA's mesquite project, which encourages volunteers to harvest mesquite both on campus and at home.
