Below I'm sharing this great opportunity for students looking to apply for fellowships or nationally competitive scholarships. These opportunities tend to have Fall deadlines which is why this program takes place in the summer to help students prepare application materials. Many of the app materials can be reused or modified for graduate school applications so it's a good use of their time for several reasons.
Priority deadline is tomorrow (4/24) which guarantees a spot, but we will be accepting application until April 30th.
Summer Fellowship Application Development Program (Free & Online)

Do you need deadlines and writing support to achieve your summer fellowship writing goals? Our Summer 2024 Fellowship Application Development Program is now accepting applications from UArizona students interested in completing fellowship applications over the summer. If you need help identifying a fellowship, please review our resources <https://gradcenter.arizona.edu/funding/resources-finding-external-funding> for finding funding. Our summer program is free and online.

Eligibility: UArizona students applying for graduate and post-doctoral fellowship opportunities are eligible to participate. Please see the application<https://forms.gle/Z9AVWKbCPaCz4KJq7> for a full list of opportunities that we support.

Deadlines: April 24 (NEW extended priority deadline) and May 15. Only the applications received by April 24 can be guaranteed a seat if meeting the other program criteria.

Summer Application Development Program Support

The three components of the program include the following:

1. Deadlines to submit your drafts for comments

  *   Submission deadlines are May 31 and June 21

2. Feedback on your drafts and opportunities to meet with Graduate Writing Consultants to discuss your draft

3. Online information sessions about writing for fellowships

Participants will attend one online Kickoff Session at the start of the program. Kickoff Sessions will be held on Monday, May 20 from 12:00-1:00 pm and on Tuesday, May 21 from 12:30-1:30 pm. For information on registering for a session, please see your acceptance email.
