Dear PLS students,
Please see opportunities below.
1. Perfect Plants Scholarship Opportunity
We are a family-owned plant nursery based in north Florida. We offer an annual scholarship for students in the field of horticulture or agriculture with an award of $1000 annually. You can find more information about our scholarship program here: https://myperfectplants.com/scholarship-application/.
1. Riparian Botanist Positions
The O’Connor Center for the Rocky Mountain West is recruiting Riparian Botanists for the 2021 field season to help implement an aquatic assessment, inventory, and monitoring strategy on BLM land in Nevada and Wyoming. It’s a great opportunity to see a lot of country, gain some solid field botany experience, and network with other natural resource professionals. See the attached job posting for more information and how to apply.
Sincerely,
Maya

ASEMS fosters a culture of inclusive excellence at the University of Arizona by empowering STEM students with the tools necessary to succeed while recognizing their unique backgrounds and assets.
The University of Arizona sits on the original homelands of Indigenous peoples who have stewarded this land since time immemorial. Aligning with the university’s core value of a diverse and inclusive community, it is an institutional responsibility to recognize and acknowledge the people, culture, and history that make up the Wildcat community. At the institutional level, it is important to be practice in broadening awareness throughout campus to ensure our students feel represented and valued.
