[Plsugs] TIME SENSITIVE: Paid research opportunity for Plant Sciences students

A part-time Research Assistant position is available for UArizona undergrads to assist with research projects carried out in the Yadegari Laboratory. The position can start immediately and will be available through Fall semester and beyond pending satisfactory performance. Responsibilities include: (a) planting, maintenance and crossing of maize (corn) and sorghum plants in greenhouses and growth chambers on campus; (b) assisting with molecular and genetic experiments; and (c) general laboratory maintenance. No laboratory experience is required. However, life sciences majors with course work in college-level biology will be given preference. Students eligible for Federal Work Study are encouraged to apply.
