Subject: BIO5 Institute Student Opportunities
Hello,
The BIO5 Institute engages many students through event volunteering, internship and employment. We would like to notify you of these opportunities in case you are able to pass along to your students, or know a student who might be a good fit. Thank you in advance for your assistance in getting the word to students.
We are currently seeking student volunteers for our Discover BIO5 Open House Event scheduled for April 1st from 5-8pm. Shifts are in 2-hour blocks and multiple shifts can be selected. Volunteer Sign-up<https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1TJJnXT6jp5GHcpoxWaJrlLBUIqOy__TI?usp=sharing> To learn more about this event visit DiscoverBIO5.arizona.edu<http://www.discoverbio5.arizona.edu>
The BIO5 Ambassadors is a yearlong internship for select students wishing to earn experience in the ‘business of science’. Interns work intimately with mentors on projects as well as learn professional development skills through weekly seminars. Applications will open in early April.
Additionally, BIO5 is seeking student employees to join our public affairs team to work approximately 20 hours per week. The public affairs team handles communications, events, marketing, social media, a high school internship, an undergraduate internship, information technology, and all applicable reporting. See our postings on Handshake https://app.joinhandshake.com/employers/159829
