UA Wildcat Corps has some excellent AmeriCorps opportunities available for individuals looking to make an impact and gain real world experience.
Members in the positions below will serve 300 to 900 hours from October to July. (Orientation in September).  The living allowance will range from $2,652 to $6,600 (pre-tax) and the educational award from $1,289 to $3047 (pre-tax). Educational awards can be used for future education or student loans.

(900-hr slot) A seed to table agriculture literacy program that reconnects youth to a healthy food system, teaches them how to grow and prepare fresh food and empowers them to make healthy life choices. To accomplish this, Tucson Village Farm offers year-round, instructional, hands-on programs for youth of all ages.

(900-hr slot) UA Compost Cats serves as an environmental leadership training program, an influential regional presence, and a prominent symbol of student initiative, engagement, and achievement. The Outreach and Education Assistant will lead composting workshops in local K-12 school STEM programs and will coordinate experiential learning workdays for community volunteers.


UACE Pima AZ Project Wet Water Educator<https://my.americorps.gov/mp/listing/viewListing.do?id=52493&fromSearch=true>


(300-hr slot) Water Educators provide water quality investigation opportunities and water education programs to Tucson-area students. This position will serve October to June.
