Hello students!
I send this email with sadness, but also filled with excitement for opportunities to come. I'm emailing to let you know that I submitted my resignation last week from my position as Academic Advisor, and my last day will be next Friday, April 5th.
While I am sad to leave my position and will surely miss all of you, I am excited to pursue a new opportunity as a Legal Assistant at a local non-profit. This change aligns with my personal and professional goals of working in non-profit organizations and potentially going to law school.
I am constantly amazed and in awe of your resiliency, your goals and dreams, and your desire to learn and grow to become the best person that you can be. In this vain, I am pursuing new opportunities to follow my goals and dreams and out of a desire to grow and continue learning. I hope that you all find some time to think about your true passion in life, and start taking steps (small or big) to reaching your true potential. You have all had a tremendous and positive impact on my life, and I will be forever grateful for that.
Please follow the steps below to ensure you are able to meet with an Academic Advisor during the transition.
* I will be available for advising appointments and drop-in advising hours through next Wednesday, April 3rd. I encourage you to meet with me for Fall and Summer 2019 Priority Registration if you haven't already and you need some assistance setting up your schedule. Click Schedule an Appointment<https://eagle.sbs.arizona.edu/advising/index.php?k=ad61ab143223efbc24c7d2583be69251#245> to set up an appointment with me and to view my drop-in hours.
* Beginning Monday, April 8th, the main College Advising office is going to be available for advising appointments while the search for a new Advisor occurs. They will work with Dr. Tanya Quist to ensure a smooth transition. To meet with a College Advisor you have the following options:
* stop by Forbes building, room 203 for drop-in advising
* call 520-621-3616 to set up an appointment
* email advising at cals.arizona.edu<mailto:advising at cals.arizona.edu> with any questions
Please let me know if you have any questions. I wish you all well in your academic and personal endeavors.
Best,
