Steps to successful course registration
* Check UAccess<https://uaccess.arizona.edu/> for any to-do items or registration holds that will prevent registration
* Sign up for NetID+<https://it.arizona.edu/netid-plus>. Now required to access all campus services.
* Schedule an Appointment<https://eagle.sbs.arizona.edu/advising/index.php?k=ad61ab143223efbc24c7d2583be69251#245> with your Academic Advisor
* Add classes to your UAccess shopping cart
* Use the “Check Eligibility<https://registrar.arizona.edu/sites/registrar.arizona.edu/files/documents/Check%20Eligibility.pdf>” feature in UAccess to verify that you are eligible for everything in your shopping cart
* Have some back up courses ready in case your first choice is unavailable
* Finish the enrollment process by adding the classes in your shopping cart to your schedule

Spring 2019
January 8:
· Last day to file Undergraduate Leave of Absence<https://t.e2ma.net/click/n63pgb/neun2t/rdsggn>.
· Last day for students to add to or drop from a wait list for classes in the standard term (sessions that have not yet started are still available for wait listing).
January 9: First Day of Spring 2019 Classes
· UAccess still available for registration
· First day to file Grade Replacement Opportunity<https://t.e2ma.net/click/n63pgb/neun2t/75sggn>
· First day to add classes for audit; instructor signature is required.
· Deadline to pay tuition for ALL UNITS registered as of 1/6/2019 without late charges.
January 10: $50 Late Payment Charge<https://t.e2ma.net/click/n63pgb/neun2t/nytggn> applied for tuition due 1/9/2019
January 16: Last day to use UAccess for
· adding classes, changing classes, or changing sections.
· After today a Change of Schedule form with instructor signature is required to ADD or CHANGE classes

Hands-on learning with sensors/instrumentation to measure, record, and control environmental factors and climate in controlled environment systems.
►Understand and learn techniques & principles used to measure, monitor, and control various environmental variables affecting plant growth/development, and climate in controlled environments.
►Recognize the advantages & complexities associated with environmental control, plant growth and development.
►Gain experience in designing/developing a simple controlled environment system.
►Learn by doing -hands-on laboratory sessions with simple and advanced sensors & data acquisition systems.
►The interactive and fun atmosphere while learning.

1. Summer Horticultural Internship
Attached is a description of a Summer Horticultural Internship. This is a wonderful opportunity for a student to work in two different public gardens, Berkshire Botanical Garden as well as Naumkeag, a Gilded Age-style estate and National Historic Landmark. Attached is an article about the 2018 interns that has just been published in the Garden’s quarterly magazine Cuttings.

Summer internship with a public garden specializing in plant conservation, horticulture, and botanical education. We have internships focusing on 4 different areas: arboriculture, curation, horticulture, and plant production. We seek a diverse group of interns with various backgrounds from all over.

1. 2019 Living Collections Fellowship at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University
The Living Collections Fellow (LCF) is part of the Arboretum’s Living Collections team and supports significant initiatives in Curation, Horticulture, and Plant Production. The LCF is assigned a large-scale project that spans the duration of this two-year experience. This next LCF will be a member of the Plant Production team, spearheading the creation of a plant introduction program.
