NOW TAKING APPLICATIONS

This year Project Puente is partnering with SBAR (Sustainable Bioeconomy for Arid Regions) to connect high school and early college students interested in science and biotechnology with scientists on the SBAR project currently conducting research in raw material development, production, and delivery of guayule and guar in the desert southwest. This internship is an opportunity for students and scientists to work together on real biofuel research in feedstock development, sustainable production, logistics and economics to impact the greater biofuel economy in the desert Southwest.

By linking students to degrees and careers in agriculture and bio technology through internships, this is an opportunity to gain valuable field and laboratory skills while spending time this summer with industry chemists, geneticists, engineers or research scientists at the University of Arizona.

This is an 8-week internship where you will receive 3 college credits and a $300 scholarship!

The SBAR Project Puente Internship Program is accepting applications!
