Grounds Maintenance Worker
The University of Arizona Campus Arboretum is seeking a part-time student employee to assist with grounds maintenance of the living plant collections on the UA main campus Fall semester 2018. The student will be responsible for installing trees and signs and maintaining plant inventory records.
Essential qualifications:
* Ability to do physically demanding work outdoors.
* Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
* Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
* Available for approximately 5-15 hours/week.
Preferred qualifications:
* Some botany or horticulture experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
* FWS qualified.
* Available for two semesters or more.
* Experience collecting or working with plants.
Salary begins at $11 hour and varies upward depending on experience.
