  1.  5th Annual CALS Etiquette Dinner


The event is open to all students enrolled in a CALS major.  Preference will be given to undergraduates who have not attended in the past, but that is only the case if we end up in a wait list situation.  This event is FREE for students to develop and hone their industry interaction skills and etiquette which can be key when interviewing for internships and professional positions.

  1.  UA Campus Pantry


The goal of the UA Campus Pantry is to reduce food insecurity in our Wildcat Community. At their distribution events, students and staff can grab important food staples at no cost. All you need is your CatCard! To find the campus Pantry, turn left at the information desk located next to the UMart in the Student Union. Proceed down the stairs and you will see a sign for the UA Campus Pantry. They are open every Wednesday from 12:00PM - 7:00PM and Fridays from 11AM - 3PM during the academic year.

On September 26th one of our Advisory Board Members has agreed to host 20 minute, one-on-one, Ask the Interviewer sessions with students. This is a great chance for students to get to turn the tables on a job interviewer and get their questions answered about what recruiters are looking for, common interview mistakes, and ways to improve their chances at landing the job.

September 12th, 12:00PM-4:00PM, 2nd floor of Disability Resources in Highland Commons D217. Free food provided. (Flyer attached)



The DCC is a new and exciting space for students, faculty, and staff to explore and celebrate disability identity, culture and community. DCC will offer a variety of events and programming that promote an authentic and intersectional perspective on disability. We hope to decorate the DCC with pieces that celebrate disability history, community and pride, as well as promote disabled artists. The Office of Undergraduate Research has a number of resources and events to support students in pursing undergraduate research opportunities. We believe research to be a high impact and engaged learning activity which can also serve as a career exploration exercise as well.

We have a growing number of digital resources on our website (ur.arizona.edu<http://ur.arizona.edu/>) to support students in getting started with research, finding research opportunities, and maximizing the research experiences they participate in.

We also offer in person workshops and presentations (ur.arizona.edu/workshops<https://ur.arizona.edu/workshops>) which mirror the resources on our website, though attendance has been sporadic.

Attached you will find a 8.5x11 poster highlighting our office’s services. In addition we have a Facebook and Instagram account for the UR office (@CoSUndergradResearch and ua_ugresearch respectively) which you can like and follow.
